IYUN is a cohort-based Jewish learning experience for adults facilitated by local educators. Modeled on the success of the Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF), which has graduated more than 20,000 alumni at 306 sites, IYUN builds Jewish community and a love of Torah study for adults, by initiating them into a cohort of peers who explore existential questions through the lens of Torah.

IYUN is not just a literacy program, but a method to building content-rich Jewish community. The practice of studying Torah is both informative and social. It builds a unique, deeply Jewish kind of relationship among peers unlike anything else. IYUN is a catalyst to transform Jewish communal life through the study of Torah.
